At the end of 2016 I was standing in line in Costco with my parents who were buying food for New Years day and general living, as you do. I love Costco, from the samples to the bulk containers of mini cinnamon buns, you can’t go wrong. I take every opportunity to go!
Anyways, I was talking to my parents about the importance of being environmentally friendly and doing our part in stopping climate change. This is especially true because we live in a place that just introduced a “carbon tax”, something that is far from uncommon these days. Thus reducing our carbon foot print is a win, win, win. Not only will it help protect and save the planet, but it saves those precious hard earned dollars.
As I looked into the cart and explained to them how making more environmentally friendly decisions can help every I decided to challenge my family and household to a 2017 environmental challenge!
Throughout January I have taken note of all the small things that effect the environment. There is a decision I make everyday that makes me think, hey! There must be a more efficient way to do this.
What?
Every week I’m going to challenge you to make a small environmental change that won’t effect your life too much!
Why?
Making small environmental changes will help the environment, your wallet and life in general!
When?
Stay tuned for February! Where the first environmental challenge will start!
Let me know the small changes you are already making!
