Today, literally all day, my heart has been pounding out of my chest. Maybe it was too much coffee, or maybe the lack of sleep has been catching up with me. Either way, I felt faint and jittery all day. This might have something to also do with the fact that I am on the downward push to my novel coming out. That, and I’m planning a wedding, going to Australia in a month, and I am pushing to get more and more traffic to my blogs!
Jeez, I feel like I am slowly becoming burnt out. That’s the thing about burning the candle at both ends: come Tuesday you are already ready for the weekend. That is why I have compiled this list of the best books for writers and the best books for bloggers. These books are great to bump up your writing, to get a different perspective and just to write.
So, if you are like me, and feel like you’re brain is fried. Take some time to write and learn and enjoy, because if you like writing, then you probably love reading too.

Writer’s Market 2019: The Most Trusted Guide to Getting Published
This book is actually my bible, and even though it was sitting right next to me as I write this, I totally typed it in as “Writer’s Bible” when I went to find a link for you! Starting from the beginning it walks you through how to write a query, what kinds you should be writing based on what you are trying to “sell” and then it lists off all of the places you can try to sell your writing.
From magazines to non-fiction and fiction publishers to literary journals, this book has it all in one easy to read place. It is also packed with insight from real writers and authors. It is a definite buy for any writer or blogger, and definitely awesome if you want a book that will help you make a living out of freelance writing.

Literary Non-Fiction: A Writers’ & Artists’ Companion: Writing About Everything From Travel to Food to Sex
Honestly, this book is a lifesaver if I’m absolutely stuck in a rut. I spend hours upon hours writing every single day, and sometimes that becomes super repetitive. The book truly gives you ideas of how to write things differently and better. It teaches you how to conduct interviews that will take your writing to a whole new level, and how to create stories that make the reader wanting more. Non-fiction is hard to grasp, and I love this book for helping me get better and better, that is why it is one of the best books for writers (of any genre).
For those who get stuck in their head and are afraid to press post! Read this:

Okay, okay, so everyone and their dog is reading this book right now. So it must be good right? But not everyone is like that. This book is an amazing read that gives you great insight into living a truly happy life.
