Insolation Cover Reveal: The Importance of a Catchy Cover!

In some ways I feel like I’ve been writing this book for a lifetime and in others, I feel as though I just started. At this point I kind of can’t believe that we are just 50 days away from the official release of my book with Solstice Publishing!

There have been days where I definitely didn’t think that this was going to happen. There were many times that I thought I was going to give up forever and I was going to click the delete button on the word document and throw it away forever. But now, obviously, I am so glad that I didn’t. My dream of becoming a published author is finally coming true, and in 50 short days my book will officially be just that, a full-fledged book!

 

Why I Care About A Cover!

I am a visual person, and obviously as I work in media, I know the importance of a good cover. I know lots of people say, “don’t judge a book by the cover”. However! Everyone judges a book by the cover, that is how people decide what to read and what books to buy. You walk into a bookstore and it is the covers that grab your attention and make you decide what you are going to read next.

 

I’m Excited to Announce My Cover

As the days draw nearer to February 1st, I’m starting to get together teasers and trailers and marketing material. Marketing, social media and getting your name out there are some of the most important things to becoming an author, and that’s why I am so excited to start this next stage of the book publishing process!!
